The Video Girls had a great time at NAA this year, making new connections, reconnecting with old friends, and learning a lot! Here’s a little recap of the week!
Thursday, June 20 Richard Branson and Bill Rancic spoke at live at the General Opening Session! That night we attended the 2013 NAA Opening Party, which was a block party in the Gaslamp Quarter. It was so much fun and well planned out. They closed down 2 blocks for us with about 10 restaurants you could choose to eat and drink at. The music and live entertainment was great too!
Friday, June 21st The Expo of course, was a huge success! Some of our favorite moments were really just getting to know our clients a little more, and finally putting names with faces for some of them was great!
Saturday June 22– Bert Jacobs’ general session was possibly our favorite moment of NAA, and an amazing and inspiring way to end to the conference. He threw Frisbees into the crowd and got everyone really involved. Bert was extremely uplifting, motivating and managed to impress the socks off of us! Life is good and everyone should spread the message that he shared with us. Bert announced that more than a dozen teams had formed to raise $38,000 for the Playmakers Foundation, which focuses on kids in need. Take a look at the great team effort. NAA matched the fundraising for a grand total of $43,879 to Life is good Playmakers Foundation.
Here are some more pictures we took during NAA:
We can’t wait for NAA 2014! What was your favorite moment this year?
