The Video Girls’ TAA 2016 Rundown

For TAA 2016, we were back in Houston, TX!

The conference kicked off on Wednesday with the 31st Annual Jerry Adams Memorial PAC Golf Tournament at Woodlands Resort & Conference Center. It was a beautiful golf course and clear but chilly day.

HOB2Wednesday night, the Video Girls headed over to the Vendor Blender at the House of Blues to let loose and network. Supplier Partners and Clients got to partake in some karaoke!

Thursday morning started off bright and early with Kimberly graduating from the Leadership Lyceum and the rest of the Video Girls headed to educational sessions while Mary and Jess conducted Executive Interviews for next year’s video.

Capture the Market had the privilege of producing Beth Van Winkle’s tribute video that was played during the opening session. Check out the video below, in case you missed it:

Afterward, we were treated to the wisdom and energy of Keynote Speaker, Sugar Ray Leonard. Sugar Ray shared some valuable life and business lessons he learned throughout his boxing career, including some of his boxing highlights.

Thursday’s Lone Star Expo kicked off with tons of energy. We got to see old clients and meet new friends. And we had a lot of fun posing with cardboard cutouts in the booth.

We had a groovy time at Dave’s Motown Throwdown Ultimate Party, where some of us really got into character. The night was full of some great tunes, laughter and fun!

To close out the week we attended the Installation Brunch where we got to see industry leaders be rewarded for their hard work and dedication and got the privilege to see Dave Marcinkowski be installed as the new President of TAA.

Overall, it was one of TAA’s best years yet, and we can’t wait for next year in Fort Worth! Yeehaw!
