Video Girls Janet, Shannon, Kimberly, and Beth just returned for NAA 2016 in San Francisco! Here’s their recap of everything that went on this year!
Janet, Kimberly, and Beth attended the Next Gen and National Supplier meetings. Later that evening, Kimberly enjoyed a night at the Giants game with Entrata. Janet and Beth attended a client dinner co-sponsored with Updater and Co Star at an amazing Italian restaurant in the North Beach district.
We started the morning off with a power breakfast as a team, then the Video Girls went on various client meetings prior to booth set up later that afternoon. That evening Kimberly attended Dolben’s annual awards and team building event, then ended the evening at the Maintenance Supply Headquarters party. Janet, Shannon, and Beth co-sponsored a delicious dinner with Strategic Solutions at Caffé Sport.
Shannon and Beth started the day by attending the inspiring Supplier Education Session: 100 Days of Rejection presented by author Jia Jiang. Meanwhile, Janet and Kimberly attended NAA region meetings. After lunch all the Video Girls attended the exciting opening session including a fabulous Journey cover band then a tribute to NAA President Doug Culkin who is retiring after 17 years! Good luck Doug and thank you for all your service to our industry! Then Michael Strahan was interviewed and talked about the importance of teamwork and how hard work pays off.
Of course we had a ton of fun meeting up with clients at CTM’s booth, then Shannon, Kimberly, Robin, and Beth attended the NAA opening party at San Francisco Civic Center and world famous Court House. They featured an amazing array of food from many of San Francisco’s distinct districts, dessert food trucks, and live entertainment! CTM co-sponsored and videoed 3 Dogwood Night Concert at the Fillmore with a live band and some industry special performances.
Friday was the last day of the trade show and Maintenance Mania, where Jorge Blanco earned the title of National Champion. To wrap up great week, the last evening Janet and Beth co-sponsored a client dinner with Zillow, Rentpath, and Updater, then all attended a live comedy show at Beach Blanket Babylon (highly recommended for your next San Francisco trip). Shannon and Kimberly also co-sponsored a client dinner at The Stinking Rose…aka everything Garlic!
To close out NAA 2016, Saturday morning Shannon and Beth attended the Excellence Awards (formally known as Paragon Awards) and breakfast. Congrats to all who won an Excellence Award! After the awards, speaker Charles Best took the stage from donorschoose.org! It was inspiring and motivating!
